PD. PAL Jaya provided assistance to manage medical waste in several health facilities and emergency locations for handling COVID-19 through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
This assistance is provided to help deal with COVID-19 pandemic in Jakarta
This assistance was in form of dustbin, portable toilets, and medical waste plastic bags. It was distributed to several locations, such as Kelapa Gading Health Center (Puskesmas), RSUD Cempaka Putih, RSUD Kemayoran, RSUD Johar Baru, RSPI Sulianto Saroso and TPU Rorotan (Public Cemetery).
Septic Tank Revitalization Phase I This Year Targets 826 LocationsPD. PAL Jaya President Director, Aris Supriyanto informed, his side distributed 95 dustbins with 240-liter capacity, 40 dustbins with 660-liter capacity, 17,500 plastic bags for medical waste, and 16 units portable toilet.
"All items have been distributed. We receive data from Jakarta Environment (LH) Agency regarding health facility locations that require assistance for medical waste management. Later, maintenance will be conducted by health facilities that receive the assistance. While maintenance for portable toilet will be assisted by Environment Agency," he said, Monday (9/27).
In addition to distributing assistance for managing medical waste, PD. PAL Jaya also carried out domestic desludging in several health facilities and emergency locations for handling COVID-19.
"Septic tank desludging service in health facilities, emergency locations for handling COVID-19, and vaccination sites is still ongoing. This assistance is provided to help deal with COVID-19 pandemic in Jakarta," he closed.
